netEOP Testimonials

netEOP has been successfully deployed to the Kansas Division of Emergency Management and is currently working with the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP) for the State of Louisiana to implement netEOP to all of its Parishes.

State of LouisianaJuly 2007 State of Louisiana’s Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP) has purchased netEOP a Web based Emergency Planning application that will put all of its Parishes and the State Emergency Operations Plan online. netEOP allows Emergency Managers and Planners to setup their planning team allowing them to collaborate their planning efforts.

To ensure netEOP meets the needs of all users, a Planning Team comprised of local and state Emergency Managers has been established to test and enhance netEOP. netEOP is also working with State of Kansas Division of Emergency Managementthe Kansas Department of Health and Environment to develop a Biological Incident Annex.  Future projects include a Foreign Animal Disease Incident Annex, additional Support Annexes and a version of netEOP for the newly revised State Emergency Operations Plan.

“The State of Kansas needed a way to convert all 105 county plans to an ESF format and we were having trouble getting our arms around that big of project. Using netEOP with a template for the counties to insert jurisdiction-specific information, we are going to be able to convert all 105 counties to new, ESF based, NIMS-compliant plans in just a few months!”

Angee Morgan, Senior Planner
Kansas Division of Emergency Management

“For the first time, we can easily keep plans up to date and the updates distributed to all users instantly. We teach that in the Planning Course (i.e., your plan should be “evergreen”), but this is the first time I have ever realistically envisioned being able to do that.”

Charlie McGonnigle, Planner
Kansas Division of Emergency Management

"You are solving the dilemma with local plans we've struggled with for at least 10 years."

Gene Krase, Director

"This is the best tool the State of Kansas has ever given Emergency Managers!"
